Our Staff

We are extremely proud of the staff at Kids R Kids in Westchase!

Our Director, Ms. April, was awarded the Hillsborough County Director of the Year Award in 2006. 

All Kids ‘R’ Kids faculty and personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff are trained in Pediatric First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age-appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations also provide them with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. Our staff are encouraged to further their education through CDA (Child Development Associates), FCCPC (Florida Child Care Professional Certificate) and advanced education programs. 

Staff Screening

All staff are required to submit to a level 2 background investigation. This investigation includes reports from Hillsborough County, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and nationally, through the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
