Yes, our centers have school buses with seat belts to transport children to and from school in the morning and afternoon as well as on field trips.

Yes, our buses are available for area field trips. We transport children who meet the state’s age requirements. These children are given opportunities to see their community and other places of interest year-round. Whether it is the local grocery store, the petting zoo, the library, and entertainment places such as roller skating, bowling or putt-putt golf, we provide fun and learning for the children and guarantee the maximum protection plan for parent’s peace of mind.

Yes, our schools are equipped with three separate age-appropriate play areas for outside play. The children have scheduled times in the morning and the afternoon to explore their outside world. As an added safety feature, our school has a six-foot fence surrounding the outside perimeter of the play areas. The play equipment is state-of-the-art, and Kids ´R´ Kids abides by the federal regulations on safety equipment and the surrounding fall zones.

Yes, we serve hot meals and nutritional snacks. Our location is equipped with a full-service kitchen and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children.

Our staff are trained in Pediatric First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age-appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations also provide them with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. Our staff are encouraged to further their education through CDA (Child Development Associates), FCCPC (Florida Child Care Professional Certificate) and advanced education programs.

Yes, our internet viewing system can connect parents and family members to their child while at work or thousands of miles away. Through a secured internet site and unique password, you can observe your child´s daily activities through your computer. The same cameras are fed to the front desk for additional monitoring by administrative staff.

Yes, all members of our staff are required to submit to a level 2 background check. This investigation includes reports from Hillsborough County, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and nationally through the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Only infants and one-year-old children are permitted to bring their own breakfast. Infants eat on their own schedule as directed by their parents. Children in suites 100 & 150 may bring breakfast, provided they arrive at the center before 7:30 am. Breakfast can be purchased on a daily basis at the front desk for $1.00 up until 7:30 am.

If you are unable to drop off before your child’s lunchtime, make sure that you feed him/her lunch prior to dropping off at the school. Please do not bring your child with their lunch into the classroom.

If you would like to speak with one of your child’s teachers, please feel free to call during nap time. This is the only time that calls may be transferred into classrooms. The only exception to this rule is for the infant room where calls can be transferred at any time.

For school-wide activities, refer to our monthly newsletter located on the front desk, which also includes a copy of our school-wide calendar. For classroom events, take notice of postings on the classroom door and ask your child’s teacher how to read the posted lesson plan.

All children should have a complete change of clothing at the school at all times. Parents with children in a diaper changing room need to provide diapers/pull-ups, wipes and diapering creams. Parents of infants need to include all food and bottles.

Each morning, we post any teacher absence on the classroom door.

No. All children, including school-age children, need to be dropped off in their classroom.This gives both parent and teacher the opportunity to communicate any important information to each other.

We are very happy to help you celebrate your child’s birthday with their friends at the center. Any food items brought in from home must be store bought and in it’s original package. No homemade food items will be allowed in the school.
